By land, you can find Gainesville Marina at 2145 Dawsonville Highway/ Highway 53 in
Gainesville. By water, we are the only public marina north of Browns Bridge Road.

Driving Directions

From I-985/Atlanta:

From I-85 North, take I-985 North to exit 20 (Queen City Parkway).
Turn left off exit onto Queen City Parkway.
After crossing Jesse Jewell Parkway the road name changes to John Morrow Parkway, and then to Dawsonville Highway.
Continue straight (you will see a Home Depot on the right).
The marina entrance is located approximately 1½ miles past the Home Depot on the left (before you cross over the bridge)

From GA 400/Atlanta:

From GA 400 North take exit 17.
Turn right onto Hwy 306 (Keith Bridge Rd).
When Hwy 306 ends, turn right on Hwy 53 (Dawsonville Hwy).
The marina is located approximately 7 miles down the road on the right (After crossing second bridge).

From I-85 South:

Take exit 137, turn right off exit onto Hwy 129 (Athens Hwy).
Follow Hwy 129 into Gainesville and turn left on Jesse Jewell Parkway (at Best Western).
Turn right on John Morrow Parkway (road name changes to Dawsonville Hwy).
Continue straight (you will see a Home Depot of the right).
The marina entrance is located approximately 1½ miles past the Home Depot on the left (before you cross over the bridge).

From I-75 South:

Take I-75 South to Exit 259 (I-285 East).
Take I-285 to GA 400 North via exit 27.
From GA 400 North take exit 17.
Turn right onto Hwy 306 (Keith Bridge Rd).
When Hwy 306 ends, turn right on Hwy 53 (Dawsonville Hwy).
The marina is located approximately 7 miles down the road on the right (After crossing second bridge).
