Four Winns Boats

Big Screen at the Lake

On May 31st Gainesville Marina brought the Big Screen to the lake 36 feet to be exact. The screen was set up on the end of the point between dock 1 and the gas/office dock. Over 20 boats joined us for a showing of The Water Horse, a story about a young boy who discovers a rather large egg and cares for it until it hatches and later becomes the Lochness monster. What a wonderful evening for a movie, the wind was blowing 15 to 20 all day long which concerned us. But by about 7PM the wind had completely died down and with about 75 degree temperatures and no humidity the setting was perfect for A Movie on the Lake. Several of the Gainesville Marina team members either joined forces with their own boats or joined Paul Stovall on the Four Winns 338Vista. Joe and Ricky watched from Joe's new fishing boat. Hans, Anna and Emma joined Stephen and Steve Rhodes in their Tige' for the evening where Steve and Emma spend most of the time making monster faces with flash lights. We we all happy to see Greg and Lynn Mosley, from dock 1, along with some invited guests slipped to the back of the gathering of boats to take in the movie. Greg even said to Steve after the movie - "It was great we really enjoyed it." It was a beautiful clear star filled night in more ways than one.
